Project for evaluation and improvement of public relations for geothermal projects
This biennial project is encouraged by the federal ministry of the environment, nature conservation and nuclear safety. The relation between public relations and acceptance of geothermal projects will be tested and proposals for improving communication will be designed. Goal is to develop a manual including recommendations for action for improved communication. Here you may find additional information.
International symposium for deep geothermal energy in Freiburg
From 10. to 12. May 2011 the 7.th International Geothermal Conference took place in Freiburg. More than 250 experts from some 20 countries participated and took the opportunity to discuss the current topics of the deep geothermal energy. Focus areas of the conference hosted by Enerchange were i.a.the realization of Enhanced Geothermal-Systems (EGS)-Projects, public relations for geothermal projects, danger potentials and challenges of seismic activities and the success factors in project development. On the third conference day the participants could get an idea of implemented deep geothermal energy at geothermal projects in the upper rhine rift. 1. Congress "Energy autarcy administrations" in Freiburg
From 7. to 8. April 2011 Enerchange and fesa e.V. organized initially the congress "Energy autarcy administrations". About 250 participants experienced a successful and informative meeting with many impulses. The congress was kick-off for a campaign, that will be supported by fesa e.V. in the years to come. Administrations will be provided with essential information for their successful energy transition by fesa e.V. The 2. Congress "Energy autarcy administrations" will take place from 27. to 29. Leitfaden Entwicklung von Geothermieprojekten
The comprehensive brochure by Enerchange "Leitfaden zur Entwicklung von Geothermieprojekten" is available now. 19 articles, written by geothermal experts cover the development process of geothermal power plants. Guide “How to heat with Bioenergy”
The guide “Heizen mit Bioenergie” which was published by fesa e.V. in 2007, concisely informs on all issues of using bioenergy. On 15 pages, Marcus Brian, founder of Enerchange, outlines basic know-how of heating technology, product quality, price development and financing. The guide offers useful help for all those who want to use renewable energies at home.

Since 2008, Enerchange is responsible for the geo-newsletter and the web portal www.tiefegeothermie.de, the leading news portal in the field of deep geothermal energy in Germany by now.
